Harris County Municipal Utility District 468 is a political subdivision of the State of Texas, created by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality on August 15, 2006, for the purpose of providing, operating, and maintaining water distribution, wastewater collection and storm drainage facilities serving land within the district.
The District is located in Harris County within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Houston, 20 miles northwest of downtown Houston along highway 249 bordered by Louetta Rd to the north, Vintage Preserve Pkwy to the east and the Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve to the south. The district is composed of 529 acres, most of which have been constructed for both residential and commercial uses.
